Thalam is an Ayurvedic therapy in which a medicated paste is applied on the top of the head and left for about 30 minutes. Takradhara is derived from the Sanskrit words “takra” (buttermilk) and “dhara” (flow), is a traditional ayurvedic  sudation therapy with a stream of medicated butter milk  to soothe your body and mind. It can be done either as Shirodhara (pouring the decoction over the head) or the dhara over the entire body.

Takradhara has a calming effect that alleviates stress, anxiety, and tension, fostering mental clarity and emotional balance. It is beneficial for sleep disorders like insomnia, effectively treats skin conditions such as psoriasis, and aids in recovery from chronic headaches and migraines. Additionally, it supports ear and nose health, relieves neuropathy and spondylitis, and nourishes the scalp and hair.

KATIVASTHI

Kativasthi  is an  Ayurvedic process of retaining warm Ayuvedic oil over the lower back part of the body bordered with herbal and dough paste for a period of time, followed by a gentle massage. The Ayurvedic oil and the herbs will be chosen depending on the bodily constitution, doshas and the health disorder of the person.
